There are more than 636,000 Asian Americans in Virginia, now constituting the state’s largest immigrant population. AAFCF VA engages our Asian American voters in Fairfax, Loudon, and Prince William Counties. Our top priority issue is language access; given that, after English and Spanish, the top five languages spoken in Virginia are Asian, we will continue to advocate for government agencies to provide accessible and consistent information for non-English speakers, particularly for voter, election, and departmental information. We also prioritize organizing around access to health care and abortion, which we identified as top issues for Asian American voters in recent years.
